In his teaser video for “Nightcrawler”, the incognito artist known as Zhu invites listeners to cross over to the dark side electronic music.  As of now the full track is not available, however, the video teaser has us dying for more. The neo-noire music video shows a funeral in which Zhu’s crew, cloaked in all black, carries a casket to its final burial site. An ominous voice plays over the dark deep house track as it repeats itself, “Blink once…Blink twice…Blink…Don’t forget”. The camera pans over the rose covered casket. Written on the casket are some of the top EDM DJs with a slash running through their names: Marshmello, Kygo, The Chainsmokers, Alan Walker, Afrojack, Zedd, David Guetta, Steve Aoki. The video, which is shot like a trailer for a horror movie, suggests that a monstrous “Nightcrawler” (Zhu) has brought these mainstream artists to their demise. On the artist’s, IG, his caption only states, “join the Blacklizt”.
