As a self-proclaimed “dub-hop” producer, 23-year-old Max Hype, known to his fans as Protohype, is one of this year’s headliners at Nightmare Festival alongside Figure, Herobust, Omar Linx and Keys N Krates. Protohype is no stranger to Badass Raves, as he played Big Dub Festival in 2014, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have him back as a headliner for Nightmare!
Armed with a huge collection of music, fans can expect Protohype to spin some tracks from his most recent release, The Dog House, as well as a variety of his past releases like See No Evil, Speak No Evil and Encore. If you love bass music and haven’t heard Protohype, these are a great place to start.
Protohype plays a fusion of dubstep and hip-hop, which has allowed him to generate his own sound and set himself apart from other similar producers in the electronic music scene. Over the past year, Protohype has performed at TommorowWorld, Beyond Wonderland, Electric Daisy Carnival and many more.
This fall, Protohype is hitting the road with Herobust for the Bottoms Up tour. But just in time for Halloween, the two are making a special stop at Camp Ramblewood, so don’t miss out! This year’s Nightmare Festival is one you definitely do not want to miss.
