Celebrate Badass Raves 7th Anniversary Bash in Two Different Cities!
Badass is celebrating our 7th anniversary party in style with two familiar favorites; Minnesota and Champagne Drip are bringing their signature sounds to U Street Music Hall on March 16th for a special and intimate night. The pair will also be stopping at the Canal Club of Richmond for another Badass party on the 17th. Combined, the pair fuses their music to create a party that breaks up the monotony of nightlife; Bauhofer specializes in ambient dubstep and funky glitch-hop while Champagne Drip provides a decadent medley of 80’s vibes, west-coast hip-hop, and laid-back electronica.
This year is a truly a showcasing of both artists’ hard work and talent culminating over the years. In addition to his stops locally, Bauhofer will be appearing at major festivals such as Euphoria, Buku, and Electric Forest. Bauhofer also released his second remix of year today for “So Cold” by Lido. Likewise, Pool is on a national tour alongside Minnesota. In addition to his tour, he is riding the success of the release of his EP Of Course I Still love You while his remix of “Blame” ft. Elliphant by Zed’s Dead and Diplo had been gaining attention as well.

A Message From Chad
” It’s surreal to think about how far we have come, not just as a company but as a community. We hold tight to the things we belief in as well as to family and those who we trust. In these seven years we have seen people come & go while many have stayed. Everyone has been on a search for friendship and happiness. Some have found it within this scene that we have created and others have found themselves questioning the essence of that which is around them.
Regardless of the way any persons path has gone, we have all admittedly grown or have been presented enough information & opportunity to grow as people. Even as a company, we’ve experienced growing pains like we could have never imagined. We are still small but we’ve managed to go from throwing breaking & entering style events in abandoned buildings to the creation of immersive parties like Psychedelic Dreamscape and Psychedelic Nightmare and blossoming those ideas into festivals.
Raves and show and festivals are more than music and decorations to us. It’s everything in between that matters most from the last night campfires with your friends talking about all the ridiculous things that happened that day to the long, drawn out hugs between strangers who may never meet again. At any moment we are pouring our love into the universe and that positive energy spills into the rest of the world around us – something that is very much needed in these times.
I often wonder who reads these emails. And I purposefully hope that some of you who were with us from the beginning will consider joining us for our anniversary celebrations. We’d love to see you and I’d love to see you. This invitation obviously also extends to everyone. The anniversary celebrations are meant to re-unite everyone, even if it’s only been a week and certainly if it’s been years.
Much love,
Chad Bozzarelli ”
