Deadmau5 has never been one to be anything but bold, blunt, and even ruthless when he takes to his Twitter account. This time his latest tweets may have resulted in a venue staff employee getting fired. Before his performance last night (April 10th) at Umass Lowell’s Tsongas Center in Massachusetts, Mau5 took time to respond to a venue staff employee’s scathing tweet. While the employee simply known as “Dan” deleted his tweet and his account, Twitter user @noahhermanson7 was able to catch what Dan wrote: “If you’re seeing Deadmau5 tonight we’re laughing at you for going.”
See it all go down here:
You might as well go home before we find you. https://t.co/c9Jur7UWOx

Well that was easy. Dan, word of advice for your drive home, stay in your lane. And don't shit tweet the acts and fans who pay your bills. https://t.co/c9Jur7UWOx

Well… maybe you shouldn't act like a fuckin twat on twitter as if it didn't have real life implications 🙂

While it is not confirmed whether the employee has been fired, his tweets trashing the artist and those seeing him clearly gained him unwanted attention from his employers and fans of Mau5. Dan’s tweets may have been provoked by Deadmau5’s performance at the Merriweather Post Pavillion performance on April 8th; Mau5 came under fire for his set cutting out twice for a lengthy amount of time.
.@deadmau5 waiting so long for this disappointment. Set cut out twice for 10 minutes at a time. You're too technological intelligent for dis pic.twitter.com/UdHtlnN8fg
